Upland Park (Martyrs’ Lane) – The Highland Park is the park located on the hill that has the best panoramic view of the Baku City. From the top of the hill, you will be able to see the major buildings of the city and also you will be able to shot one of the best photos of the Flame Towers. You will also see the Turkish Mosque and Martyrs’ Lane. Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum – It is a museum which unique handmade carpets of Azerbaijan from different ages are exhibited. The external design of the museum building itself reminds rolled carpet. You will be able to see the examples of Azerbaijani carpet making culture. The oldest handmade carpet in the museum is dating back to 17th century. Baku Old City – It is the most ancient part of Baku which is classified as UNESCO World Heritage site in the year 2000. The Old City of Baku is covered by city walls that date back as far as 12th century. Your tour inside of the old city will start from the main entrance of ancient walled city called Double Gates. Inside of the Old City you will be able to see the Chain and Sailor Houses, Cat House, Multani and Bukhara Caravanserais, Maiden Tower-a 12th century monument with several interesting legends behind it, Several Mosques, Miniature Book Museum- which exhibits the biggest miniature book collection on Earth including microscopic book with 0.72mm in size, Palace of Shirvanshahs- 15th century Palace complex including ancient court called Divan, Residential Palace Building where Kings of Shirvanshahs Country lived, Shah Mosque, Shrine of king’s family, Mausoleum of Seyid Yahya Bakuvi. Fountain Square is one of the most central places in Azerbaijan. As it is seen from its name, you will see some fountains in the square. Fountain Square is also a favorite place of both local people and foreign visitors of the city. Square is full of restaurants, cafes, and brand shops. You can find also the shop of the Rolls Royce cars. Heyder Aliyev Cultural Center-57,500 m² building designed by one of the best architects on Earth in the year 2012. With its curved style and sharp angles is considered one of the best-designed buildings on Earth. The designer of this magnificent white building is Zaha Hadid, a famous Iraqi Architect. The building has a lot of exhibitions such as classic cars, building replicas, dolls, the fashion of the 1960s and many more.
it is a combination of three most interesting places not far from Baku, such as Ateshgah fire temple, ethnographic museum “Gala” and Yanardag (“Burning mountain”). Our guide will help you not to get lost in the labyrinth of the history of Absheron Peninsula. Ateshgah – Fire Temple – your guide will give you the information about the history of the temple and also will explain the trade relationships of Azerbaijan and India in the 18th and 19th centuries. In the temple, there are many rooms which represent the daily life of the people in the temple with its internal decoration. And also in the center of the temple walls, there is the Central Altar which the eternal fire burnt continuously since the 19th century. Outside of the temple walls, there is various souvenir shops which you can buy handmade souvenirs. Duration: 1 hour Yanar Dag – The last destination in your trip will be the Fire Mountain. Near the mountain, you feel the smell of natural gas and heat of the fire. Roots of the gas go until the Caspian Sea and burning almost 4 millenniums. After the Fire Mountain driver will drop you in your hotel or any desired place in the city.
Breakfast in the hotel. After the breakfast you will start your Gobustan Tour. The Gobustan State Reserve is full of archaeological monuments and has over 6000 cave painting. Distinctive, highly stylized thousand images showing of early man, animals, battles, ritual dances, bulls, warriors with spears in hand, camel caravan, and depictions of the sun and heavens, called petroglyphs, distinguishes Gobustan art. Most of these images dating back between 5-20,000 years left by the hunter-gatherer people who populated this region in times past. Azerbaijan keeps the first place in the world for the number of mud volcanoes. During this trip, you will get a great chance to see these amazing active volcanoes from a very close distance.

WOWW what an amazing experience. It was the perfect mix of history, culture, and nature. Yanar dag’s natural flames were truly unique visiting the ateshgah fire temple felt like stepping into another time. I had such a fantastic time on this 5-day tour of Azerbaijan! From the moment I landed at Heydar Aliyev International Airport, the welcome was warm and seamless. In Baku i was immediately struck by the contrast between the modern architecture, like the Heydar Aliyev center, and the ancient streets of the old city. the climb to the top of maiden tower gave us breathtaking views of the city.
