Traditional Baku shopping

I had the best time exploring the Old City’s souvenir markets, where I found some truly special items, including a gorgeous handwoven carpet. The market is full of treasures that reflect Azerbaijan’s deep cultural heritage. Elnara was our guide and provided us with insightful details about the history of the items we saw, making the experience all the more enjoyable. This tour was a great way to take home a piece of Baku's history. I would recommend this to anyone visiting Baku!

Taza Bazaar was a vibrant and bustling market where I could truly experience Baku's local life. I purchased fresh produce and enjoyed walking around the food stalls. The variety of spices, dried fruits, and local specialties like honey was amazing. I loved the atmosphere of the market, and it was a great way to get a taste of Azerbaijani culture.

The view from Daniz Mall in Baku overlooking the Caspian Sea was simply breathtaking. I enjoyed walking through the mall, shopping for clothes, and sampling delicious food in the food court. The mall’s modern design is really impressive, and it felt like a perfect mix of luxury and comfort.

Azerbaijan's vibrant culture😇

I really enjoyed my trip to the Old City of Baku. The handcrafted textiles and copperware were particularly impressive. I bought a beautiful kelaghayi scarf as a gift, and I was amazed at the level of detail and craftsmanship. Elnara was an excellent guide, sharing not just the history but also the significance of the items we saw. The whole experience was enlightening, and I’d recommend it to anyone interested in Azerbaijani culture and craftsmanship.

Delicious Local Cuisine

I had the pleasure of dining at Dolma restaurant as part of my tour with Guided Azerbaijan. The food was absolutely delicious, offering a perfect introduction to Azerbaijani flavors. The restaurant was cozy, and the service was excellent. After visiting the Old City and shopping for souvenirs, it was the perfect lunch break. Our guide Ali was fantastic, giving us detailed explanations of the traditional dishes we were trying. I recommend this experience to anyone looking to taste the local cuisine!
